International efforts are taking place to control the first known cases of the Ebola virus in Uganda. Workers from the united States Centers for Disease Control are traveling to the northern town where the virus began two weeks ago. The World Health Organization has also sent health officials to help stop the spread of the virus. At least 37 people in Uganda are dead and many others are infected. Ebola causes severe bleeding. There is no cure. The Ebola virus kills 90 percent of the people it infects.
