Delegates at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, are discussing ways to improve technology between rich and poor countries. More than 3,000 political and business leaders have gathered in the Swiss city for the six-day meeting which opened Thursday. Organizers have invited representatives from trade unions, environmental groups and other representatives to take part. Security has been increased at this year's meeting in an effort to prevent protesters from interfering. All demonstrations have been banned. But activists opposed to free trade say they will be in Davos Saturday.
